Auditory Processing Disorder Awareness Day 4th April 2023
Here is a free version of an Auditory Processing Disorder checklist which we use when talking to parents about their children.
It will help you as a parent understand the reality of your child's reading and learning experience.
People affected by Auditory Processing Disorder may struggle to keep up with conversations, which impacts their ability to read, spell and follow oral directions. Use this checklist to identify your child’s priority areas. This will enable you to build an intervention plan that works for your child’s
individual needs.
It will also help you inform yourself when you are talking with their teachers.
But most importantly use it to identify the priority areas that your child needs to improve.
Download the checklist here.
We hope you find it useful.

John
