Parent / Teacher Meetings - How did they go?

Published: Mon, 11/18/19

Hello
In most schools parent-teacher meetings are scheduled in October and November. Was this the case for you?

It can create some anxiety. But in general its a great opportunity to take a quick review and set the priorities for each student based on their first two months or so of the school year.

If so, how did they go?

In all reality though, the work isn’t over when the meeting ends. I hope you got useful insight on how your child or student are doing at school, and tips for ways parents can support their growth at home if they are struggling.

If you’re looking into options to help your student/child, Fast ForWord should definitely be on your radar. In 30 minutes per day, 5 days a week, Fast ForWord Home can help your child:

The Fast ForWord Home program will help your child/student to:

a) Pay attention longer…stay focused in the classroom and stay on task…
b) Process information…keeping up with the teacher and completing
assignments more efficiently and effectively…
c) Remember more..actually retain what was learned in all subject such as
math, language, arts, science, etc…
d) Sequence better which is needed for taking instruction, story telling,
sentence structure, spelling and grammar for both speech and writing.
e) Organizational skills…

Most reading and learning programs, including tutoring, work around your child’s underlying challenges and act like coping tools.

Based on years of neuroscience research, Fast ForWord Home was designed to address the root causes of your student’s struggles to make lasting changes in how they learn!

I’d love to hear about how your parent/teacher meetings went! Give me a call, or send me an email and let me know what next-steps you’re considering to help your child succeed!
