"Are you paying attention Kerins?"
How many times did I hear that from my teacher when I was in school?
Poor attention means trouble for your child such as; not following what the teacher is saying, not taking in things accurately, trouble remembering what was said and lots more.
Being able to stay on task is a critical part of your child's ability to learn inside and outside the class.
The good news is attention skills can be developed.

“Fast ForWord is helping my students pay attention to one thing and stay on task for 30 minutes. It’s helping them build up that stamina. It’s helping them keep their attention focused. It has carried over to other things.” Ms Sparks, teacher.
